Thirteen-strong crew out of 150 Rickit Road, Te Awamutu. Pouring across the Waipa and the wider Waikato. Plus Benji.

Filokreto is a Te Awamutu concrete company built around a crew of thirteen, all working in matching hi-vis FK uniforms and all turning up to do the same kind of work for the same standard.
The company runs out of 150 Rickit Road and the operation is led by Mark Sugar, who has been the named contact since the early days. The work spans commercial slabs, residential foundations, dairy effluent pits, vehicle crossings and decorative concrete.
The crew is what makes this work. Filokreto is built around a tight, family-style team that turns up every job with the same approach: do the work properly, look after each other, look after the gear. Te reo and trade slang run through the work day. The boys get a shout-out on socials when the cubes are down. It is a working crew, not a corporate one.
In December 2025 Filokreto was recognised by Concrete NZ and BCITO for our continued support of apprenticeship and skills development. We are an active BCITO employer, with team members commended in the Concrete Industry Apprentice of the Year programme. Skills development is part of how we keep the crew building, year over year.
We are also an Approved Council Contractor for vehicle crossings, which means we handle traffic management plans and council consents in-house. Less to coordinate for you.
